Piarco Packinghouse
Located at Caroni North Bank Road, the Piarco Packinghouse facility offers to any exporter or private sector the opportunity to receive, temporarily store, process, package and ship produce bought from NAMDEVCO certified farms, ensuring that the respective commodity or product is of quality, for exporting, manufacturing and trading purposes. Our main goal at the Packinghouse is to ensure that all products that come and leave the facility meet the highest standard for quality and food safety.
Facility
This facility’s storage capacity consists of four chiller/refrigeration compartments, which can accommodate approximately sixty tonnes of produce. Additionally, the frozen compartment consist of one blast freezer and one holding freezer which cumulatively stores 30 tonnes of produce. The Piarco Packinghouse is convenient for both air and maritime exporting, as it is strategically located close to the airport and major seaports.
